A model generated clinical study rules as code. I designed the places where a person could stop and check it — what the AI understood, which data it pointed at, and what it did when it ran — then worked with product and engineering on what survived a much smaller first release.
Read the caseA request for more required-field markers became a broader workflow problem. I reframed required data around screening, randomization and dispensation, and designed a Focused View that shipped in the initial release.
A working redesign proposal that separated information levels, preserved task context, and made performance and implementation questions concrete enough to discuss with product, engineering and leadership.
About
I am a product designer based in Austin, Texas. My recent work has focused on enterprise clinical software and AI-assisted product experiences, where a seemingly small interaction often sits inside a much larger system of roles, states, data, and delivery constraints.
I like turning that complexity into something a person can understand and act on. My process combines product framing, detailed interaction design, and hands-on prototyping. I use prototypes not only to communicate a polished direction, but also to expose unclear requirements, failure states, technical assumptions, and the trade-offs a team needs to make.
